I grew up in the small town of Roanoke, Alabama. My parents encouraged me to paint and draw at an early age. I attended the University of Alabama, majoring in Anthropology During college I took a number of art and sculpture classes. After college I attended Cumberland School of Law. For the last 34 years I have practiced law in Montgomery, Alabama and across the nation on a variety of cases.
When I was younger I painted and drew in a realistic style or manner but have found that I much more enjoy the abstract. I enjoy painting things not as they are, but instead I create them in my head. It is much more fun to paint something that I imagine or create in my mind. You may look at my art and know that it is fish, but soon realize they are different, something created.
