Shirley Esco

Shirley says ”art is an important part of my life. Painting to me, no matter what the medium, is my passion because art is not only food for the eyes, but for the soul. Have you ever stood on the shore soaking up the sunset or admiring the sunlight slant across the grass, or the amber glow of autumn fields. These peaceful moments are never forgotten, and these moments are what I strive to capture when I paint. In fact, my painting style can be considered representational.”
She has lived out in the country in Elmore County all of her life where she is continually inspired by the beautiful countryside and lakes. Viewers often comment that my work conveys serenity. Through my paintings, I try to capture the essence of the beauty in the world around us. She has served two terms as President and treasurer of the Elmore County Art Guild, and is a member of the Montgomery Art Guild.
